I really admire the work you put in all the videos. I check for your new videos almost daily and always wonder what takes you so long. Everytime I see the new video I'm like "okay, this was worth waiting". The work you have to put in repairing the car and in addition to that, the work you have to put in moving and placing the camera so every bolt you touch is visible for the viewer and finally editing the video the way you do it (every transition, every splitscreen, all the bolts to mark and these things you do with graphs) must take hours and hours. I really appreciate it and hope that you'll keep doing such a great videos. Even though I don't even have a car, I always enjoy your videos, so one day I buy myself a car, i can do it at home just because of you. Thank you!

As I mentioned in another video it's 2019 but one more thing...I'm probably one of the few that really would like to see a spoiler, the new throttle body you mentioned, a cold air intake, good ol' blue tank of NOS, and lastly who doesn't like to see a TURBO on a Stang? You should definitely slap one in there as well because most drifters have a turbo setup... I like how the mustang is coming along...keep it up!

I wonder what it can do N/A if you built it properly. 4.6 ain't much, but it SHOULD be capable of at least 75HP and LB-FT per liter... And another thousand on the redline without too much drama or dumping the low-end grunt. But alas. You're getting a supercharger.

you did not show the shape of the runners on the new intake where it mates to the head. STIL. by the look of the gasget it looks like you have a lot to gain by port matching the heads to that manifold.

Next, you need aftermarket camshafts to take advantage of the extra airflow. I Know that in later years of this generation, there was a version with 4 valves per cylinder, the mach 1. Maybe you could look into that

The +12hp is completely pointless mentioning. You won’t be able to feel it while driving, racing or drifting, so you might as well completely negate it. The increase of 50 hp is good, but only really comes into affect after 5k revs... I understand it’s the drift-stang and will theoretically always be bouncing off the Rev limited but still, negate the power increase. So really, what I’m trying to say is, this was pretty pointless. Not trying to be mean, speaking for 6+ years of motorsport education, and 7 years in the industry. This mod wouldn’t ever be done on an actual race car.

I'm assuming you got a tune when it was on that dyno? i have always wanted to squeeze every bit of HP out of most performance parts i install but i have never gotten a tune when i get something simple (like a catback or cold air intake), so i wanted to hear your opinion, do you think its necessary? I did get a tune when i got longtubes/cam and a lsa supercharger kit on my gto (obviously) lol. Just wondering because i know a lot of people who get tunes for literally every part they put on, which is never a bad idea i would assume. Awesome video btw!

I'm 32 and have always been fascinated by cars, but until discovering your channel I had always just wanted to get new cars for "peace of mind". Now I'm looking at getting something older to have fun with and mod the hell out of, all because of you! Thank you, Chris, you explain the dyno sheet perfectly. I work at a dyno shop and people don't understand how to read the sheets and always cry when power is low because their "buddy" made 500 while his car made 495 The difference is he made 495 for 3k of the RPM Band while his made make 500 peak for like 200RPM lol

Good video on the PI intake conversion. This along with just swapping to PI cams kicks the 96-98 2V output to within a few HP of a 99-04. No need to headswap these cars like everyone thinks. No idea on why you use little studs for the gaskets tho... take a few old intake manifold bolts or long bolts with the same threads, cut the heads off and leave them as long studs, not little nubs. 2 studs on each side centers the gasket and also the intake manifold when you drop it on. Then just install a few actual manifold bolts and remove the hand tight studs with your fingers. A lot easier and less complicated than making those little nubs and then having to use a magnet to get them out...

cant you add just a small drop of super glue to 4 corners of the gasket to keep it in place compared to cutting a bolt? im just saying most home mechanics may not have a angle grinder at home but more than likely will have some super glue on hand.

I cut the head off long bolts and use them to guide the intake into place. The short studs leave too much room to move things out of place. Just my two cents, but great job Chris!
